Thirsk, North Yorkshire Clay Pigeon Shooting

My dad and son both had a great time shooting clays and really enjoyed the trip back in the 4 x 4. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful!

My son and nephew had a great time. Our instructor Dave was amazing. He taught them how to shoot not just shoot at the clays. It was a great experience. You could tell the staff. Love what they do. We will definitely be going back. Thank you for a great time.

We visited Yorkshire Outdoors on Saturday for our works Christmas do to do clay pigeon shooting booked through The Big Shoot. We were a party of 7 and most had not shot a gun before. From arriving we were made to feel welcome and put at ease, the instructors were absolutely brilliant, patient, funny and informative without being boring. It was an excellent day hosted by excellent people, and even got taken on a little off road tour of the grounds on the way back from the shooting cages. We will definitely be returning.

Had a family day out first time for all of us , you could call it a male bonding session Dad, Son and Grandson who is 12 yr old . fantastic day with some of the nicest people you could wish to meet who took care of us from booking in to leaving the venue, the instructors who teach you to shoot are excellent and put you at ease straight away. Thier safety and understanding of how to shoot and the way they treat us was simply amazing . A fun day out 5 stars for everything !!!!!
