Clay Pigeon Shooting

Whatever you capabilities, or lack of them, we reckon you will surprise yourself just what you can achieve lining up the barrel of your gun. Clay pigeon shooting is one of the country’s fastest growing sports. Isn’t it about time you realised what fun you have been missing?

NEVER SHOT BEFORE?
Our venues will give you a formal and thorough introduction to the sport of clay shooting. Less powerful shotguns are available for women and youngsters so you there is a gun for everybody.

BANG – YOU SHOT IT DOWN!
Pull goes up the shout…and a clay (round clay disc) shoots up into the air ready for you to take aim and fire. The thrill you feel when it bursts into a thousand pieces showing you have hit your target must be experienced to be believed.  To add to your experience, clays are launched to mirror the flight of a real bird such as a pigeon and sometimes to replicate the path a rabbit or hare may take across the ground - and not a dead animal in sight!

BIT OF A CRACKSHOT?
We can still deliver a challenge. When you know one end of a gun from another your session will be based around your shooting level so that you can use the time effectively to brush up on your techniques and improve yours skills further.

DON’T TURN UP IN CITY SLICKER GEAR!
Sensible country clothing and footwear to suit the weather on the day is the order of the day. All equipment provided.
